DFC Substrate Mixture is a premium substrate created specifically by biologists for dart frog hobbyists. DFC Substrate Mixture consists of DFC Bamboo Charcoal, tree fern, fir bark and most importantly our own Panda moss. Our mixture pH level is balanced for more efficient and suitable for growing your microfauna population. With this well drained substrate, additional top layer of sphagnum moss is not necessary. Wet the substrate with RO or filtered water before using in your vivarium. A 2 - 3 inch layer is recommended. Perfect for false bottom or substrate barrier style vivarium set-ups.
