DFC Indian Almond Leaves serve a very important part of a naturalistic ecosystem. As the leaves break down they slowly provide organic food for microfauna while lowering pH. Indian Almond leaves also provide tannins for the water and also have anti-bacterial properties. The anti-bacterial properties help prevent diseases and eliminate stress in tadpoles and dart frogs.
